Antique Fond
This collections consists of monographs, leaflets, loose leaves and periodicals printed between 1501 and 1830, mainly written in Spanish, Latin and Basque. There are also manuscripts, engravings and maps printed up to 1900, where the leading Basque printers and most Spanish and European printers are represented.
Given its importance, special mention should be made of the Basque collection, with noteworthy works written in Basque by authors of the ilk of Juan Antonio Mogel, Agustín Cardaberaz and Pedro de Axular, among others, and in Spanish by authors such as Martín de Azpilcueta, Manuel de Larramendi and Valentín de Foronda,...
